Beethoven-German Dance in C (ABRSM 2003-04 Grade 1 B:1)

The German Dance is a quick type of dance in triple time, the forerunner of the waltz. It became very popular in South Germany and Austria in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
Beethoven (1770-1827) originally wrote his 12 early German Dances for orchestra but later transcribed them for keyboard.
